Water and state-of-the-art proprietary anionic surfactants. In English, that means it’s (a) water-based and (b) contains negatively charged molecules that help to get rid of tough stains.  What’s more important is WHAT IS NOT in Stain-Venom®: It is free of VOCs, PFOs, PFOAs, PFAAS, APEO, as well as 1,4 Dioxane. That’s a big deal!

Further, the product is biodegradable, and ozone safe, does not use any chemical propellants, and is both non-flammable and non-combustible.

What Types of Rugs and Carpets Can I Clean With Stain-Venom®

Stain-Venom® leaves your carpet looking clean, soft and plush.  It is safe for use on carpets made of nylon, wool and synthetics, as well as on stain resistant carpets, including sisal.  Be sure to test for colorfastness and any other adverse effects, such as, but not limited to, pile change before application. Do not use on Berber carpets as they can pill and fuzz quickly with virtually any water-based cleaner.

 Safe, convenient and environmentally-friendly, Stain-Venom® is a proven, made-in-the-USA, water-based spot cleaner, ideal for a wide range of common household stains, such as wine, coffee, cola, lipstick, oil and more.   Be sure to test for carpet colorfastness in an out-of-the-way place before using Stain-Venom® For best results, treat stains immediately – before they dry.  Here’s how to do it:  

1. Scrape off any solids or semi-solids such as ketchup, mustard, food and the like from the carpet.
2. Generously apply (but do not over-saturate) STAIN VENOM® to the stain.  For the BOV spray, hold the can between 12-24 inches away from the stain and jet spray.  For the squirt bottle, squirt liquid 2-3 inches from surface.  In both the BOV and squirt bottle, make sure the entire stain is covered with the cleaner.  Wait 30 seconds before proceeding to the next step.
3. Using a clean terry cloth towel, begin the removal of the stain by moving the towel in a circular motion to avoid rings.
4. Repeat application if necessary, until the stain is completely gone.
5. OLD STAINS: Apply Stain-Venom® and allow to stand for at least 5 MINUTES then RESPRAY lightly again before removing using the above procedure described in 1-4.
